Jaccoud’s Arthropathy: Swan Neck Deformities, Hand
These swan neck deformities result from recurrent synovitis and inflammation of the joint capsule causing deformities without erosions. The deformities are usually reducible but may later become fixed. Jaccoud’s arthropathy is associated with recurrent rheumatic fever but can also be seen in systemic lupus erythematosis.
